Commitment to Open Data and Reproducibility
In addition to promoting open access to scientific articles, the journal actively encourages the use, publication, citation, and reuse of open research data—both as research subjects and as inputs for reproducibility. Authors are encouraged to deposit datasets in trusted repositories and to include links or persistent identifiers (such as DOIs) in their manuscripts, in alignment with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).

Editorial Commitment and Guiding Principles
The journal adheres to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practices promoted by COPE, DOAJ, OASPA, and WAME, ensuring integrity, fairness, and quality throughout the editorial process.

Persistent identifiers are promoted, such as ORCID (for authors), ROR (for institutional affiliations), and ISNI (for creative contributors). The journal also endorses the DORA and Leiden declarations, prioritizing the evaluation of scholarly work based on its content rather than traditional impact metrics.

All manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process. The journal follows a continuous publication model to ensure agile and timely dissemination of knowledge.

License and Access
Articles are published under the Creative Commons 4.0 License (CC BY 4.0), allowing free reading, download, distribution, and reuse for non-commercial purposes, with appropriate credit to the original authorship.

Languages and Scope
The journal accepts submissions in both Spanish and English and aims to establish itself as a regional and global reference in Open Science. It seeks to foster collaboration among researchers, professionals, librarians, information managers, developers, and science policy stakeholders.
