Current Issue
The International Journal of Open Science is an open-access scientific journal published by the Universidad de La Serena, devoted to disseminating research on Open Science, with particular attention to its development in Higher Education and from a multidisciplinary and global perspective. Its aim is to offer a rigorous and accessible venue for studies, projects and advances that strengthen the openness of knowledge in universities and academic institutions, both nationally and internationally.
Published by the Universidad de La Serena, the journal fosters communication and academic exchange among researchers and professionals interested in open access, open data, responsible research assessment, digital infrastructure, reproducible research practices and science policy.
It follows a double-blind peer review process and publishes in continuous publication format for the timely dissemination of knowledge. It operates under the CC BY 4.0 license, which allows the reuse of knowledge with appropriate attribution to the original authorship.

The journal accepts contributions in Spanish and English and publishes research articles, systematic reviews and well-grounded essays.
