Abstract

This paper deals with the tobacco production of Colombia during the nineteenth century, which explained the first the incursion of the Colombian economy to the world market. In this sense, it shows the great contributions in aspects such as economics, politics and business, which, in addition to promoting the country, attracted large numbers of foreign entrepreneurs, especially from Germany, who contributed substantially to the development of the Regional economy and National.
