Temas de Educación is a diamond open access academic journal, based on the principle that free availability of scientific and educational knowledge fosters idea exchange, innovation, and research development in the field of education.
Licensing and Copyright
All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
This license allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles without restrictions, and to reuse them provided that the original source is properly cited.
Authors retain full copyright and publication rights over their work without limitations.
Open Access and Transparency Principles
The journal adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and to the transparency and best practice principles promoted by COPE, DOAJ, and OASPA.
In alignment with the FAIR Principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable), authors are encouraged to share data, methodologies, and supplementary educational resources in open repositories.
Publication Charges
Temas de Educación does not charge fees for submission, processing, or publication of articles. The journal is completely free of charge for both authors and readers.
No financial compensation is provided to authors for the publication of their work.
Depositing and Self-Archiving
Authors are encouraged to deposit their articles in institutional or thematic repositories such as Zenodo, SciELO Preprints, or university repositories to ensure long-term preservation and accessibility.
The journal allows and encourages the self-archiving of preprint, postprint, and published versions without restrictions.
Interoperability and Visibility
The journal provides open and structured metadata using interoperable standards such as Dublin Core and OAI-PMH, facilitating indexing in academic search engines and databases.
Each article is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to ensure persistent identification and long-term accessibility.

The use of preprints is supported, as well as the sharing of research materials, and the use of persistent identifiers such as ORCID to improve the traceability and visibility of academic contributions.
