Abstract
The present article seeks to provide a series of reflections about the opportunities of learning that the pandemics offers caused by COVID–19, further than the implications in the public realm, shown in controls and restrictions of different kinds. From that perspective, it is warned that the presence of the virus must lead us, as a society, to rethink the relationship we have with nature from an educational point of view based on the self–care and care for
the environment.
The educational practice cannot continue supporting itself by the fragmentation between people and environment under the criteria of knowledge of rational pragmatic order. It is required a pedagogy that advocates for an ecology of learning that recovers the symbolic values of human attachments to the territory, as a tool for improvement and moral commitment for the formation of a planetary ethic.
