Policy Peer Review

Peer-Review Policy and Process of the "Nursing Care and Health Education Journal"

Our journal employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review system to evaluate the quality, relevance, and originality of submitted manuscripts. This system is fundamental in maintaining and enhancing the quality of the research we publish. Below, we detail the process:

  1. Manuscript Reception: Once a manuscript is submitted through our online platform, it undergoes a preliminary review by the editorial team to ensure it meets the journal's submission guidelines, including format, length, and subject matter. If the manuscript fails to meet these initial criteria, it may be rejected without undergoing peer review.

  2. Reviewer Selection: If the manuscript passes the initial review, two to three expert reviewers in the article's subject matter are selected. Reviewers are chosen based on their expertise and recognized contributions to the field of study. Careful selection of reviewers ensures an impartial and constructive evaluation of the manuscript.

  3. Double-Blind Review Process: In our double-blind system, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other. This promotes an objective assessment of the manuscript based solely on its content, free from biases about the authors or their institutions.

  4. Evaluation and Suggestions: Reviewers assess the manuscript based on established criteria, including originality, relevance, methodological clarity, validity of results, and contribution to the field of study. They provide detailed feedback, suggestions for improvement, and a recommendation regarding the manuscript's publication (acceptance, minor or major revision, rejection).

  5. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations and comments, the editorial team makes a decision about the manuscript. If revisions are required, authors receive specific feedback to enhance their work. This process may involve several rounds of revision until the manuscript meets the journal's standards.

  6. Editing and Publication: Once a manuscript is accepted, it undergoes a style editing process before publication. Our editorial team works closely with the authors to ensure the final article is clear, precise, and of the highest quality.

This detailed peer-review process not only ensures the publication of high-quality research but also contributes to scientific development in the fields of nursing care and health education. The transparency and rigor of this process reflect our journal's commitment to academic excellence and integrity.
