Peer Review Policy
The Congress resorts to a peer review process which is essential to maintaining the excellence and relevance of the contributions, ensuring that each work meets the highest academic standards. This process is carried out under a double-blind modality, where neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other's identities, thus guaranteeing an impartial evaluation focused solely on the merit and quality of the content. Once contributins are received they are first pre-screened to ensure they meet the basic criteria of format and thematic relevance. Subsequently, they are assigned to expert reviewers in their thematic area, who evaluate the works based on specific criteria including alignment with the congress themes, contribution and guidance of the proposal to advance the improvement of teaching, learning, and management processes in higher education from the perspective of SoTL, clarity and coherence in writing, originality and impact of the proposal, clear and logical structure of the text, adequate theoretical foundation, and compliance with the requested format. This meticulous approach ensures that only contributions that truly contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in higher education are selected for presentation, reinforcing our commitment to academic quality and educational innovation.
