A Retórica Do Humor Numa Charge Do Correio de Sergipe

RESUMEN

O objetivo maior desta pesquisa é entender o funcionamento linguístico-discursivo de uma charge (sessão do caderno A) publicada em um suporte de grande circulação no Estado de Sergipe – Correio de Sergipe e seus efeitos de sentido. Os objetivos específicos foram: a) buscar confirmar ou refutar se o riso é retórico, ou seja, se é persuasivo; b) analisar uma charge de Álvaro, não só porque este autor é reconhecidamente um construtor do discurso humorístico, mas também porque eleições são contextos retóricos. Apanharam-se pressupostos teóricos em Bakhtin (2003) no tocante aos gêneros do discurso e sua contribuição para uma compreensão de língua como atividade dialógica, França (2006), Perelman & Olbretchts-Tyteca (1996) e Perelman (1997) para as questões retóricas, Marcuschi (2005) para caracterizar domínios discursivos e suporte e Possenti (1998) pela sua contribuição nos estudos referentes ao efeito de sentido humorístico, além de outros. A partir da análise desse gênero do discurso – a charge constatou-se a retoricidade do riso como um dos efeitos de sentido pretendidos que se instaura nas contradições através da multimodalidade e da leitura dos símbolos e do aparente exagero como crítica à cena enunciativa apresentada não como divergência de pessoas, mas a aparelhos ideológicos e suas ideologias. ABSTRACT

The main objective of this research is to understand the linguistic-discursive functioning of a charge (session of book A) published in a newspaper of great circulation in Sergipe (Brazil) – Correio de Sergipe and its effects of meaning. Specific objectives are: a) look for confirming or refusing if the laugh is rhetoric, it is meant, if it is persuasive; b) analyze an Álvaro´s charge as because he is recognized a humoristic discourse builder, as because elections are rhetorical contexts. This article is based theoretically on Bakhtin (2003) for discourse genres and his contribution for a comprehension of language as a dialogical activity, França (2006), Perelman & Olbretchts-Tyteca (1996) and Perelman (1997) for rhetorical issues, Marcuschi (2005) for characterization of discursive domains and support and Possenti (1998) for his contribution in the referring studies to the humoristic effects meaning, beyond others. From a discursive analysis of this genre of discourse – the charge it was found the rhetoricity of the laugh as one of the effect of meaning wished, which is established in the contradictions through the multimodality and the reading of symbols and apparent exaggeration as critic to the enunciation scene presented not a divergence among people, but to ideological apparels and their ideologies.
