About the Journal
The University of La Serena (ULS) is a state institution in Chile characterized by fostering dialogue, interaction, and cooperative work among its faculty and peers, with the aim of generating new knowledge. This production of new knowledge is one of the fundamental principles of public universities in Chile and, as such, the University of La Serena strives to make its contribution.
With the purpose of enhancing research in teaching in higher education, and based on it, addressing the dynamic processes and transformations experienced by university teaching over time, ULS through the Vice Presidency of Research and Postgraduate Studies and the Academic Vice Presidency, hosted the Congress of Teaching in Higher Education (CODES) in 2019. At the time, it was held in the face-to-face format in the city of La Serena, but due to pandemic restrictions the 2020, 2021, and 2022 editions were held remotely.
