Resumen
La expansión de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en la educación superior ha intensificado el debate sobre sus implicancias pedagógicas, curriculares y formativas en carreras del área de negocios. En este contexto, el estudio analiza la adopción y el valor pedagógico atribuido a la IA por estudiantes de Ingeniería Comercial de dos universidades chilenas: la Universidad de La Serena y la Universidad de La Frontera. El problema de investigación radica en la escasa evidencia empírica situada sobre cómo estos estudiantes incorporan la IA a sus prácticas de aprendizaje y qué valor pedagógico le atribuyen dentro de su formación universitaria.
El objetivo general fue analizar la adopción y el valor pedagógico atribuido a la IA, examinando la relación entre frecuencia de uso y valoración pedagógica.
Se desarrolló un estudio cuantitativo, transversal y descriptivo-correlacional. El procedimiento analítico se organizó en cuatro etapas (n=192): estadística descriptiva de la muestra y de los patrones de adopción de IA; construcción y evaluación del Índice de Valoración Pedagógica de la IA (IVP-IA); análisis bivariado entre frecuencia de uso y valoración pedagógica; y estimación de un modelo de regresión lineal ordinaria.
Los resultados muestran una adopción extendida de la IA: 98.4% de los estudiantes indicó que la IA apoya su aprendizaje. ChatGPT fue la herramienta dominante y los usos principales se concentraron en comprender contenidos y organizar ideas antes de iniciar tareas o estudio. El IVP-IA alcanzó una media de 4.041 sobre 5 y una consistencia interna muy alta (α = 0.939). La frecuencia de uso se asoció de manera positiva y significativa con el IVP-IA, tanto en el análisis bivariado como en el modelo OLS. Se concluye que la IA ya forma parte de la ecología del aprendizaje en estudiantes de negocios, aunque su apropiación pedagógica avanza más rápido que la formación formal ofrecida por las instituciones universitarias.
