En este artículo pretendo analizar aspectos de las identidades española y latinoamericana. Mientras que los dominios lingüísticos del francés y del portugués fundamentan su solidaridad en -fonias (francofonía, lusofonía) en el área hispano-hablante predomina hasta hoy el término pos-colonial hispanidad. Ante la globalización lingüística (es decir la hegemonía del inglés) la cooperación entre -fonías e -idades es cada vez más importante para la imposición mundial de idiomas other than English. Esta contribución esboza la historia de las denominadas uniones.

Abstract

In this article I intend to analyze some aspects of the Spanish and Latin American identities. While the linguistic domains of French and Portuguese are united in official -phonies (Fran-cophonie, Lusophonie), in the Spanish-speaking area there is a predominance of the term hispanidad. Given a linguistic globalization process (the hegemony of the English language) the cooperation between -fonías e -idades is very important for the assertion of languages other than English as universal languages. This contribution is a delineation of the history of the mentioned unions.
